UpToDate is only accessible if you are currently enrolled in one or more units of study.

You might not have access between semesters or after your last semester. Once your enrolments for the next semester have been processed, you will have access again.


UpToDate is only accessible to staff when on-campus.

Staff cannot access UpToDate:

  • When off-campus, including when using VPN
  • From hospitals, including University of Sydney networks at hospitals
  • From other satellite sites
