Many Library services have been changed due to the COVID-19 outbreak. The most recent updates on our services can be found here:

You can book items in our 4 hour and Rare Books collections to have them made available for you to view at a specific time. To do so follow the instructions below:

  1. Find the item you would like to request in Library Search.

  1. Click on the title to access the full record

  1. Click on Request options

  1. Select the option for Booking

  1. Select Pickup location

  1. Click View availability to check what times are already booked

  1. Select your start and end date including time. Note that for 4 Hour collections, maximum 4 hours. For Rare Book items, maximum 7 hours

  1. Click Send request

You can then borrow the item from the pickup location selected and use for the duration of the booked time. You will need to return the item to library staff when you are finished.

If you have borrowed the 4 hour loan item overnight, items may be returned through the return chute if the information desk hours have not commenced. 4 hour loans must be returned to Library from which they were borrowed. If the item is returned late, fines accrue at $10 per hour or part thereof.
