Student placements
The University of Sydney Library supports the continued development of the library and information profession through our library students’ placement program.
We offer placements for professional and para-professional library students and library-related disciplines in Semester 2.
Who can apply?
Undergraduate and postgraduate Library students at university and TAFE.
When can I apply?
Unfortunately, we have had to suspend offering professional placements for the near future due to the current uncertainty surrounding the impacts of COVID-19.
We will monitor the situation as it develops for more clarity and will be happy to reconsider offering professional placements in the future as circumstances allow us. You are welcome to contact us and we can provide you with an update.
The Program
Placements are to be offered in specific areas, which will be announced when the application period opens.
